Smoking Marijuana, once illegal and an underground religion of sorts, has now become a trendy thing to do — especially in the states where it is recreationally legal.
People who have never toked on a joint before in their life, are now buying preroll cannabis cigarettes and smoking their brains out daily. These same people a decade ago condemned pot-heads— calling people who did partake in the simple pleasure, druggies! All the while they were sucking on a cigarette and slamming back their 5th beer of a six-pack by 2 pm.
I’m pleased to say that I live in a state mature enough to know that the prohibition of anything is impossible — that state is Nevada.
My only complaint is the laws surrounding the growing of the miraculous plant. The State of Nevada says you cannot grow a personal stash of weed if you live within 25 miles of a dispensary.
Stupid law!
Pot farming for personal use would not put pot shops out of business by any means. Growing cannabis is tough, expensive, and not for sissies. I’m not sure what percentage of Mary Jane consumers would even want to grow their own.
